BIRD ELECTRONIC CORPORATION RF Electronic Technician in Solon, Ohio
ROLE OBJECTIVE: Test RF components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Debug failures to component level.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS/SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow automated and manual test procedures/instructions. Debug all failures to component level and perform the required corrective action.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop an environment of continual improvement through the use of Lean tools.

- Test product to prescribed specifications.
- Record data where applicable.
- Debug failures to component level.
- Report failures to the quality system.
- Other duties as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES (Applicant must meet all to be considered):
Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent. 5+ years' experience with RF test and component level troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of RF test equipment (signal generators, signal analyzers, power meters)
- Working knowledge of script programming
- Good team member
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
