Fleet Truck Wash er

Sunday to Thursday 3pm to 11:30pm

Duties include but not limited to:

Perform vehicle washing, utilizing a pressure washer & chemicals, on JBS & Customer vehicles & vehicle attachments including but not limited to heavy, medium & light duty vehicles, gasoline & diesel powered vehicles, tractor trailers, cars & pickup trucks, forklifts, farm equipment ect .. Truck washers are responsible to drive each piece of equipme n t to & from the truck wash area & must hold a valid state issued driver’s license as well as a JBS operator’s license for all equipment. Truck washers will be on their feet most of the day, standing on a c oncrete pad, while maneuvering a pressure washer gun & wand. Employee must be ab le to calculate payment needed when performing vehicle washes on customer vehicles.

Work conditions will be somewhat wet and year round outside work will be required.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Cleans interior of vehicle.

• Cleans windows with water, cleansing compounds, and cloth or chamois.

• Operate high pressure equipment and chemicals to removes dust, grease, and oil from exterior surfaces of vehicles.

•Operates high pressure water hose to clean and sanitize insides of trailers according to established standards (e.g. proper disposal of trash, sweeping, pressure washing); keeps wash area free of debris and ensures all waste water is reclaimed.

• Inspect trucks / trailers for mechanical defects / damage and report all defects to fleet maintenance supervisor.

• Maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pressure washer, moveable stairs, forklift and personal protective equipment.

• Ensures all environmental laws and food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines; assists with maintaining sanitary conditions with the trucks, trailers, pickups and truck yard.

• Performs other duties as instructed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

• CDL A License not required but preferred

• Ability to operate a Class A tractor and yard truck with trailer.

• Physical demands per job description

• Must adhere to all OSHA / JBS & Mopac regulations and policies
