About this position:
The Project Development Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and oversight of project development activities for the Project Management Office. The Project Development Engineer will ensure effective communication and coordination is maintained between Asset Management, Engineering and Planning, Construction Groups, Performance Management, Finance and all aspects of the Project Management Office.

About this job:
Use sound analytical skills to model, analyze, propose solutions for growth and recommend long range strategies for customer/load growth
Maintain compliance with all related standards including industry and regulatory
Prepare presentations and present to management and/or customers
Coordinate projects between stakeholders from other affected departments
Provide engineering for growth, expansion and extensions projects
Provide project oversite
Perform computer related functions such as engineering analysis, drawing, spreadsheets, and database compilations
Perform or assist with marketing analysis, financial models and revenue requirements
Respond to customer growth/expansion request, including site visits
Survey and inspect routes
Ensure that cost estimates meet company standards and current tariffs
Perform individual lifts and carries office supplies up to 35 pounds
Travel to jobsites, off-site meetings, and trainings (up to 25% travel per year) including overnight stays when necessary

Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
Must have B.S. degree in Engineering
Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer's License is preferred
Excellent computer skills
Working knowledge or experience in real world applications for developing engineered solutions
Working knowledge of modeling software preferred experience with SAP, line design, Winflow and DDS is a plus
Knowledge of International Fuel Gas Code, NESC, NEC, and the DOT. Part 191 and 192 is a plus
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
