Summary:
Graduate of an accredited school of Advanced Practice Nursing, licensed in the State of Florida and has demonstrated clinical and teaching expertise.
Possesses strong decision-making and clinical skills with the ability to assess the comprehensive health needs of their patient population.
The APRN is to provide prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological medical services to the patients at Suncoast Community Health Center of Plant City, Dover and Thonotosassa.
This is a clinic position. Duties include prenatal/postpartum care, gynecology, and family planning.
APRN to perform IUD/Nexplanon insertion and pap smears.
APRN is required to participate in chart audits to assess the success of the QA/QI/Risk program.
Must be able to work with patients and staff from a wide range of ethnic, economic, cultural, and social backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Required - Masters - Nursing
Credentials:
- Required - APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse)
Experience:
4 years of Nursing experience including at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing
1 year in a Supervisory Role in a related field – Preferred

Location : Suncoast Community Health Center of Plant City, Dover and Thonotosassa.
