LUCIDCHART Software Engineer II in SOUTH JORDAN, Utah
Job Duties:
• Independently design, implements and completes stories on time
• Effectively apply principles of object oriented analysis and design, functional programming,
and other best architectural practices in development
• Write performance algorithms that do not introduce regressions
• Solve bugs and complete stories in a reasonable amount of time
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve world class web applications and
internal tools
• Develop large, maintainable, software projects using a functional and object oriented
approach
• Develop memory performant computer programs to ensure that programs do not crash due
to poor use of computer resources
• Identify, debug and resolve issues with web performance
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
Position allows telecommuting.
Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Technology or a related field plus one year of experience. Position requires any amount of experience/knowledge with the following: JavaScript or TypeScript; CSS/HTML/DOM manipulation; Backend programming language such as Scala or Java; Object-oriented principles; and, Object-oriented language such as C++, Java, C#, Python, or Ruby
