About Us:
We are a professional private practice specializing in Occupational Medicine, seeking an autonomous, highly motivated Master's level counselor for worker's compensation/L&I Behavioral Health Interventions and other mental health services.
We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist to join our team, specializing in the complex emotional/psychological challenges faced by individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, temporary injury related mental health conditions and pre-existing mental health conditions exacerbated by work injury. The goal is to return the worker to productive, gainful, satisfying employment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand the client's work history, trauma experiences, and current emotional state.
- Develop individualized time-specific treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic approaches for mental health conditions and trauma recovery.
- Provide trauma-focused therapy, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and mindfulness-based interventions.
- Offer support and intervention for clients experiencing acute distress or crisis situations related to their trauma.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for client
Facilitate group therapy sessions (potential for)
PERSONAL QUALITIES
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Communication and the ability to collaborate effectively toward a common goal.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Possess one of the following: Licensed independent Clinical Social Workers (LICSWs), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), and Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs)
- L&I provider number/certification
- Liability Insurance
1099 Independent contractor status
Ability to maintain electronic mental progress notes accurately
Background in clinical counseling practices
- Outstanding communication skills and forthrightness
