Selected candidates will have the opportunity to learn new skills as well as influence the development of battery cell manufacturing processes to support this historical and game-changing progression to battery electric propulsion.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and creative individual to join our Formation Production team as a Production Planner. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for planning the production flow of the Formation department and driving innovative initiatives across various aspects of our Formation operation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for; exploring new ideas, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness and competitiveness of our Formation process.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate WIP cells to determine the production schedule for Formation processes based on a standardized process

  • Review the available inventory for each Formation process to create a production plan

  • Optimize cell movement to realize efficiencies and improved production results

  • Work with Supply Chain manager to improve the planning process for all Formation processes

  • Improve the production planning process, overseeing the future development of all aspects of Formation production planning processes

  • Identify and mitigate potential supply issues due to lot holds

  • Report WIP supply issues to the Supply Chain manager for escalation

  • Maintain the packaging lot hold report

  • Report production and yield numbers for all Formation processes

  • Monitor tray racks to ensure effective flow through the End of Line department

  • Maintain monthly PM schedule with OEMs and Equipment Maintenance team

  • Monitor the calibration schedule with Quality Calibration Specialist

  • Lead monthly meetings with Assembly and Electrode Production Teams for alignment and standardization

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field is highly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform decision-making.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in using MS Office applications and manufacturing software systems.

  • Bi-lingual English/Korean is a plus.
