Job Summary:

Great American Cookies is looking for a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team.The Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and contributing to the overall success and growth of Great American Cookies. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for baked goods, and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Oversee inventory management including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensure the store is welcoming, clean, and organized.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of customer service among staff.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising store staff.
  • Schedule shifts and manage employee performance.
  • Foster a positive work environment and motivate team members.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a bakery or cookie company is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.

Shift:

Mid-Shift: 30-40 hours each week.
