Burrell Behavioral Health Treasury Manager in Springfield, Missouri

Job Summary:We are currently seeking a seasoned Treasury Manager to join our dynamic finance team. As Treasury Manager, you'll oversee treasury functions including investments, cash management, cash-flow forecasting, and M&A integration, develop and implement cash management policies and procedures.

You will also act as a liaison between Accounting, business units, and banking partners, supervise a team, manage bank relationships, conduct cost reviews, and lead the treasury month-end close process. Our ideal candidate is passionate about treasury operations, cash management, and financial analysis, has experience in treasury management, banking systems, and financial reporting, and strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, establish, and maintain cash management policies, procedures, and internal controls.

  • Serve as point of contact for Accounting and business units concerning cash activity reporting.

  • Direct the incorporation of treasury functions during mergers and acquisitions.

  • Optimize and sustain banking relationships, opening, administering, and preserving bank accounts.

  • Oversee updates and maintenance of account signatories.

  • Safeguard proper checks and balances for cash receipts, payments, and treasury operations.

  • Analyze, monitor, and share insights on daily cash flow activities.

  • Validate, authorize, and issue digital disbursements.

  • Orchestrate the monthly closing process for treasury, encompassing bank account reconciliation.

  • Observe GAAP accounting techniques, rules, and conventions.

  • Generate financial reports and declarations.

  • Address everyday transaction complications.

  • Balance several concurrent projects under tight deadlines in a fluid setting.

  • Educate and guide direct reports, clarifying expectations, job obligations, policies, and procedures.

  • Train fresh team members.

  • Submit proposals to finance executives on procedural refinements.

  • Accomplish fiscal bookkeeping targets.

  • Compose and convey KPIs to stakeholders.

  • Partner with upper-level and corporate decision-makers on notable ventures.

  • Carry out extra tasks as designated.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Share the strategic trajectory of the firm and stimulate team member contribution.

  • Supply leadership and steer all facets of the division.

  • Engage proactively in detecting, formulating, and actualizing tactical aims.

  • Integrate pertinent personnel in achieving objectives.

  • Effectively impart developments and salient happenings inside the sector or corporation.

  • Handle challenging circumstances involving team members confidentially, applying suitable caution and Human Resources insight.

  • Encourage innovation and skillfully execute novel concepts.

  • Foster collective effort across domains; endorse feedback loops from team participants at various hierarchical strata.

  • Preserve privacy of commercial intelligence, comprising Protected Health Information (PHI), consistent with HIPAA and corporate regulation.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

  • MBA or CTP preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Treasury Manager or equivalent preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, and financial analysis preferred

Additional Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities

  • Leadership experience preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software

  • Demonstrated expertise in bank reconciliations

  • Familiarity with banking systems and experience in wire and ACH templates

  • Merger and Acquisition experience preferred
