About the Role
Our award-winning Kitchen Team has a new and exciting opportunity for a Chef de Partie - Pastry to join us on a full time 40 hour contract, as we continue on an exciting 2024. Led by our Executive Chef, working in a friendly and inclusive kitchen, you will create superb plated desserts from 3 rosettes to intricate afternoon tea pastries using fresh and local produce. We cater for private events from 6 to 600 guests.
This is an exciting and challenging role that will allow you to transfer and develop your skills and progress. Reporting into the head pastry chef, you will be responsible for your own section and gain invaluable guidance and development from within the resort.
About You
You will be an enthusiastic individual with previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie. A solid knowledge of culinary terminology and techniques is essential along with being qualified to SCQF Level 5 in patisserie or professional cookery and competent in the following: plated desserts, chocolate work, patisserie and have basic knowledge in boulangerie. You will also be able to demonstrate competencies and skills within the kitchen i.e. hygienic working practices, HACCAP understanding and stock rotation and control, as well as enjoy working as part of a team.
Salary
This a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. A competitive salary of £29, 570.00 is offered along with a vast range of excellent employee benefits.
