Our Opportunity

Our Finance department have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join their team. This role will provide analysis of operations and special projects, as well as providing support for the planning and budgeting of The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist in the coordination of the strategic, financial, budgeting, capital and manpower planning processes for the businesses serviced

· Provide monthly in-depth operational analysis for the businesses serviced and review these results with the Senior Management Team

· Responsible forthe review and analysis of all capital expenditure requests (ACT’s & Planview project IDs) for the businesses serviced including understanding and analyzing official vs. cost avoidance savings, ensuring Capital ACT procedures/policies are adhered to, and calculating ROI’s

· Direct the accounting activities that are part of the monthly and annual accounting close for the businesses ser­viced

· Responsible for the accura­cy, legiti­macy and timeliness of ac­counting transactions, source documents and records

· Responsible for all statements and reports of the businesses being serviced and those related sections of the corporate monthly reporting book

· Responsible for the evaluation and analysis of income statement, cash flow and balance sheet activity for the businesses serviced

· Initiate and participate in the implementation of information systems within the businesses serviced, concentrating on the improvement of the quality, brevity and timeliness of the information

· Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of ac­count­ing systems and procedures within the businesses ser­viced

· Assisting in the design, development and mainte­nance of various computer systems that impact the businesses serviced

· Play fundamental role in monthly corporate forecast process for Statement of Financial Performance and Statement of Financial Position

· Serve as the Accounting Project Lead for major capital projects within the businesses

· Responsible for other capital asset activities, including asset transfers, asset disposals, and supporting the physical inventory of capital assets

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong background in finance and accounting. Ideally you will have 5 or more years’ experience as a Finance Analyst and have experience of working in a hotel environment. You will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and be highly adept in IT Systems.
