The ideal candidate will be licensed in either IL or MO with 2+ years of experience in workers comp and personal injury law. Candidate must have the ability to negotiate to reach fair settlements, perform discovery, and represent clients in hearings or court proceedings. Advocating for clients rights to medical treatment will also be vital. Benefits include PTO, group health, paid bar membership, mandatory CLE, term life and disability. Role is hybrid. Responsibilities
Conduct legal research to build a strong case on behalf of the client
Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and submitted within legal deadlines
Negotiate with insurance companies or employers to reach fair settlements
Prepare and present a compelling case on behalf of the client
Represent clients in hearings or court proceedings if disputes arise
Advocate for clients' rights to medical treatment, disability benefits, and rehabilitation services
