Packaging Operator

St. Louis MO

Contract to Hire Opportunity

Pay rate: $20- $22/Hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm

Experis is seeking Packaging Operators to join one of our Fortune 500 Life Science Client’s in St. Louis MO.

Work Experience/Skills:

  • 5-6 years in chemical or packaging environment

  • mixing, labeling, working chemicals

  • Must be good/understand basic math

  • Basic data entry

  • Basic computer skills and literacy

  • Willingness to learn

  • Good to have

  • Previous SAP experience / familiarity

  • Previous ISO / Pharma / biotech experience

  • Physical and respirator fit required

Responsibilities :

  • To stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label and over pack liquid, powder and hyophilized products per approved packing specifications with utilizing all required safety equipment. Complete appropriate packaging documentation per ISO procedures and deliver products to inventory.

  • Fill, cap, and label chemical products.

  • Follow all quality and safety procedures.

  • Support quality systems.

  • Trains others and work in a team setting.

Education:

  • GED or High School Diploma.

Interviews will be conducted onsite.
