We are seeking a compassionate, professional Program Supervisor to supervise and coordinate Foster Care Case Management services provided to clients to ensure quality, consistency and stability in policies, procedures and practices. They will also provide child welfare services, counseling and case management to individuals, families and groups that include birth, foster and adoptive families, within agency policy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and management to a team of social workers/ case managers, and students working with children and families in the Foster Care System
  • Train, assess, communicate, and coordinate consistent training and orientation for staff and students to meet the goals and objectives of the program and agency.
  • Provide effective supportive counseling and case management to clients, including case coordination and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Monitor and manage that productivity is maximized to achieve targeted direct service contact goals and expenses are within budgeted limits.
  • Provide effective supportive counseling and case management to client population as directed by program and need.
  • Represent the program and agency in community networks, meetings and professional associations as needed for collaborations, program development, and client services.
  • Provide consultation and input to leadership for the program as requested.
  • Serve on department and agency committees, work groups or volunteer for agency functions as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Guidance Counseling, Drug and Alcohol Counseling or other Human Behavior Science. Three years experience with children and families.

Must be a licensed driver with access to a reliable automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements.
