World Wide Technology Sr Applications Database Engineer in St. Louis, Missouri
Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with vendors
Working with project teams as required to design technical solutions to address project requirements
Managing and balancing conflicting internal customer needs on the ERP systems.
Guiding the work of more junior administrators to assist in accomplishing tasks
Ability to work with team members located in multiple geographies and time zones.
Being able to objectively look at problems and create innovative solutions on your own through automation and outside the box thinking
Becoming a trusted advisor to business stakeholders our team supports
Consistently demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to present on topics that mentor others.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree related to Computer Science/Information Systems is preferred OR equivalent working experience administering Oracle eBusiness Suite
Minimum of 6 years of Oracle EBS 12.2 administration experience
Fusion Cloud experience
Familiarity with the principles, methods, and techniques used in ERP systems administration and ability to use relevant hardware and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or Engineering
Oracle high availability (RAC, DataGuard)
Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, GTM, EPM)
Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2+)
19c RAC or above core database experience
Proficient with Linux operating system, specifically Redhat Enterprise Linux.
Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Terraform, Perl, Python, Bash, etc.
Familiarity with Agile principals and methodology
Experience with a ticket system such as Service Now or like system
