Park Nicollet Health Services Registered Nurse (Inpatient) - Neuroscience in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Neuroscience team! Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel. Department Summary: Neuroscience (7W) is a 28-bed neuroscience unit. We primarily care for strokes, seizures, and neurosurgery patients. This unit has hardwired telemetry. We are typically caring for patients in their post-acute phase. Safe, patient-centered care is the highest priority on 7W. Candidate should possess good critical thinking, and multitasking and prioritization skills. Candidate must have a clean work record with no "written warnings" within the last 6 months. Work Schedule: 0.6 FTE Night shift, weekends only (8-hour shifts) Required Qualifications: Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master's degree program in Nursing. BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.
