Element Materials Technology Construction Materials Testing Technician in St. Paul, Minnesota
Overview
Element has an opportunity for a Construction Materials Test Technician to work in our Construction Materials Evaluation (CME) department. The primary function of the Construction Materials Testing Technician is to provide construction representative testing and inspection services on various land development, roadway, and construction building projects.
Responsibilities
Performing testing and inspection of soil/aggregates, concrete, masonry, rebar, and bituminous pavement in the field and laboratory
Ensure that all testing equipment, work vehicles, and tools are properly calibrated and maintained
Communicate with Clients, Technicians, and Project Managers on a professional level to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills / Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
MNDOT Certifications in SOIL: Aggregate Production and Grading and Base, Bituminous Street and Bituminous Plant, Concrete Field, ACI, ETC. (Preferred)
Minimum 2+ years in construction industry experience
Valid Driver's License Required
Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
