Ecolab Inc Data Analyst in St. Paul, Minnesota

Ecolab's Enterprise Data Office is looking for a Data Analyst who is curious, insightful, and a strong communicator to join it's One Customer Insights Team. This team is focused on delivering AI/ML based insights to drive revenue growth and enable improved decision making across the enterprise. A person in this role must have demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and data domains, plus a strength in drawing conclusions, forming recommendations and adeptly communicating with both technical and business teams. You will use data analysis practices to explore data, ensure quality and accuracy, and present data to the business and technical teams to help make better decisions. And, you may also manage some aspects of the data model, such as code sets, taxonomies/hierarchies, attributes, and business rules. What You Will Do: Become a trusted subject matter expert of Ecolab sales, customer, product, and alignment data Enjoy working with clients and internal teams to brainstorm solutions, help identify and evaluate pros and cons, and then to guide decision-making through analysis techniques Utilize data science principles, methods, theories, and concepts to bring creativity to the development of new, innovative solutions. Drive experimentation and delivery of new AI/ML insights Leverage cutting edge technology to creatively solve problems and disrupt existing business models Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle Self-direct tasks in order to accomplish project objectives within established team practices Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI & ML Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS, Data Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or other analytical disciplinewith 2 years of professional work experience or no degree and 6 years of professional work experience 2 years of experience as a data analyst in a technical environment 1 year of experience in reporting, data architecture, taxonomy, or database development 1 year of experience in data operations Experience and proficiency in Python or SQL Understanding of data modeling concepts and methodologies Experience with Snowflake, Azure ML, and other analytic and AI/ML tools Strong initiative and personal accountability No immigration sponsorship available for this position.
