Randstad has partnered with a leading manufacturer of high-quality iron castings, seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

• Respond to emergency repairs and resolve equipment issues efficiently.

• Work collaboratively with other technicians and production personnel.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

To be successful, you will:

• Possess a high school diploma/GED and experience in a manufacturing environment (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

• Have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, with some HVAC experience a plus.

• Be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. (Preferred)

• Have experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting. (Preferred)

• Be able to repair and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems. (Preferred)

• Possess welding, fabricating, and rigging skills. (A plus)

• Have experience inspecting and troubleshooting electrical systems. (Preferred)

• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Be a self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic.

• Be familiar with ISO 9001 quality standards. (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the foundry's equipment. • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service and annual shutdown. • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed

The essential functions of this role include:
