Position: Student Test Proctor - Nursing Location: St. Paul, MN Job Id: stunew # of Openings: 1 Position Overview: The Testing Center Proctor is responsible for proctoring students in a computer lab environment. The incumbent will perform proctor duties when necessary The commitment to maintaining the integrity of the testing environment. Applicant cannot be a CON student or pre-nursing student. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions: Proctors exams in in-person and online testing for the College of Nursing. Enforces, and follows established protocol and policy for the testing center to ensure exam integrity and execution of policy. Records student testing anomalies reported by proctors in both in-person and online testing environments. Reports to CON nursing leadership. Addresses technology issues that students may experience while testing when proctors are unable to resolve. Escalates these issues to the appropriate team for reconciliation. Maintains and updates knowledge of current operating technology. Equipment Used and Responsibility: MS Office Suite Google Office Suite Experience/Education: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Holds high degree of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Ability to provide directions to individiuals and groups. Ability to follow established procedures and protocols. Must be prompt and have a sense of time limits. Experience: Experience with MS Office software and Windows environments Experience with Google office suite Experience with Learning Management (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) is strongly preferred, but not required. Must successfully pass a background check.
