Hilton Finance Assistant in St. Pauls Bay, Malta

Full-time Finance Assistant

A position has arisen to complement our Finance Team.The position calls for a dedicated candidate who is reliable, highly self-motivated, has a positive can-do attitude and a hands on approach to work.

As requisites to the role, the ideal candidate needs to be:

·Meticulous and accurate with an eye for detail

This role supports a robust control and compliance environment and includes the following duties and responsibilities:

·Balance sheet reporting and validations

·Preparation of journals for the monthly management accounts

·Weekly reporting

·Preparation of weekly rostering of finance team

·Compilation of monthly VAT reporting

·Banking & Credit Card reconciliations matters

·Upload of payments file into online banking

·Intercompany reconciliation and other

·Overseeing Cashiering and Income Audit functions

·Assisting in the internal and external audit processes

·Prepare and submit statistics as required by local law

·Handling of day-to-day accounting matters

·Support in training preparation and delivery of Finance related operational topics

·Other adhoc reporting and analytical projects that will arise from time to time

·Provide direct support to the Finance Leadership Team

Requirements: -

·Minimum of A level standard of education and/part qualified Accounting Qualification

·Be fluent in the use of computer applications especially MS Excel

·Have excellent written and spoke English

·Must be able to work Monday – Friday with the occasional weekend and after hours when required
