Functional Description:

  • Applies analytic techniques tin the evaluation of program /project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, risk, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to vehicle/project acquisition and product programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provideacquisition, sustainment and life-cycle management support to the Program Manager.
  • Directly support the Light Tactical Vehicles and Trailers Integrated product Team in the tracking of readiness and sustainment requirements for current fleet need/demand.
  • Track and develop future requirements that impact sustainment systems.
  • Apply Knowledge and expertise in continuous process improvement to track performance, plan and program office support.
  • Apply MARCORSYSCOM, PEO Land Systems, and OSD instructions for acquisition planning, data requirements, milestone reviews, budget development and coordination, and program planning.
  • Provide acquisition and sustainment support for the Light Tactical Vehicles and Trailers Integrated Product Team.
  • Track and update program/project status and schedules.
  • Develop and coordinate program documentation, requirements documents, and program and budget/funding resource plans.
  • Develop acquisition strategies, prepare for program reviews, and review and recommend alternative strategies to reduce program risk.
  • Update program risks in Project Recon.
  • Participate in status briefs and recommend responses to program inquiries.
  • Support the operation of the IPT to include: scheduling and organizing meetings, making data calls and assessing the data, updating schedules, coordinating preparation and approval of Situation Reports and support the development of procurement packages.
  • Collect, complete, organize and interpret data relating to vehicle/project acquisition and product programs.

Required Experience:

Over 3 years of combined experience performing duties in the functional description.

Education Requirements:

BA/BS Degree
