The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced and motivated bar captain to join our Abigail Kirsch team at the Loading Dock in Stamford, CT. As a bar captain, you will have the opportunity to ensure smooth service for a variety of events by supervising the bar staff.

Compensation is $29 an hour.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead a team of event bar staff to make sure all events are successful.

• Responsible for beverage and liquor counts.

• Will need to know how to make drinks and follow standard recipes to mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.

• Responsible for the setting up and breaking down off all bar's stations.

• Handle customer service needs including describing and recommendation of menu items.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Excellent communication and organization skills, attention to detail, and service knowledge.

• At least two years of experience as a service lead or supervisor in a hotel or catering environment.

• Ability to memorize and describe a variety of recipes, especially for mixed beverages.

• A valid state bartending license.
