We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Senior in our Stamford, Connecticut office. The successful candidate will be primarily focused on domestic tax compliance functions within the industrial technology sector. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills to handle the complexity of tax processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of the U.S. Federal consolidated corporate income tax return and related forms and schedules.

• Prepare individual company, unitary, and combined state income tax returns.

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax return extension and estimated tax forms and payments.

• Assist with the quarterly and year-end domestic tax provision in accordance with ASC 740.

• Manage correspondences/responses to tax notices and provide tax audit assistance.

• Carry out various domestic federal and state tax projects as assigned.

• Identify process improvements and propose ideas for streamlining processes and reporting procedures.

• Establish and maintain relationships with various personnel at the Executive Office, including Accounting, Treasury, Legal, Human Resources and Finance personnel at the business unit locations.

• Assist with various domestic federal and state projects, including acquisitions and dispositions.

Requirements

• Applicants must have a professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

• A master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.

• Proficiency in using the ASC 740 accounting standard is essential.
