Stanford University Stanford East Bay Urologist in Stanford, California

The Department of Urology at Stanford University seeks a board-certified or board-eligible urologist with an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. (or equivalent) to join the department as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Clinician Educator (CE) Line. We expect the successful candidate to develop a clinical practice focused on general urology. Although the applicant will be expected to treat all aspects of adult urology, applicants with particular interest and experience in urologic oncology or female urology are particularly desirable. This position will be located at Stanford Medicine’s East Bay Urology Clinics in Emeryville and Pleasanton and may include other Bay Area outreach sites.

The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical

care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

The expected base pay range for this position is:

Clinical Assistant Professor: $350,000 – $377,000

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It may not include all

components of faculty compensation or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation

Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university
