Stansbury Service Agency Groundskeeper Crew Member in STANSBURY PARK, Utah
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Operation Manager or the Golf Course Superintendent, performs landscape maintenance duties including mowing, string trimming, edging, blowing, and scheduled clean-ups for assigned job sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Duties:
Maintain all turf areas; mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
Keep paths and roads free of grass clippings and debris
Maintain crip edges on turf areas and tree wells.
Operate various types of turf equipment.
Wear ear and eye protection when operating equipment.
Keep tool area and equipment clean and organized.
Check gas and oil levels before operation of equipment
When operating equipment around residents and public be professional and courteous.
Other Duties as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE
Temporary, seasonal employment. Part-time and Full-time schedules are available.
Shifts are Monday through Friday 7:00 am -- 3:30 pm for Parks Maintenance or for Golf Course the schedule will be Monday through Sunday 7:00 am - 3:30 am; starting in May schedule will change to 5:00 am - 1:30 am
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be willing to work in all types of weather conditions.
Detail oriented regarding edges, with specific attention to mowing standards and aesthetics and cleanliness.
Able to take direction and work productively with little supervision.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to work without direct supervision.
Must be able to operate mowing equipment in a safe and productive manner.
Must have valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
Must be 18 to operate industrial equipment.
