Planate Management Group LLC Restaurant Operations Supervisor in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Philippines

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Restaurant Operations Supervisor will be responsible for managing all aspects of a restaurant's operation, overseeing the daily operations, and ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, customer satisfaction.

This is a full time role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Optimize restaurant operations by implementing efficient workflows, procedures, and scheduling to meet customer demand while controlling costs.

  • Manage inventory levels, including food, beverages, and supplies, to prevent shortages, minimize waste, and maintain product freshness.

  • Enforce health and safety standards, food safety protocols, and cleanliness guidelines to ensure a safe and sanitary dining environment.

  • Monitor budget and financial performance, analyze sales data, and implement cost-control measures to achieve financial targets.

  • Support the development of Training projects in line with and to support the achievement of the business strategy and KPIs.

  • Oversee shift schedules, staffing levels, and labor costs to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours and maintain a smooth operation.

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor deliveries to secure high-quality ingredients and cost-effective supplies.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns, events, and marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.

  • Ensure the restaurant's physical appearance is well-maintained, addressing repairs and maintenance as needed.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Operations Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the restaurant industry.

  • At least 3 years experience in a related field.

  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.

  • Financial acumen and budget management experience.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Customer-focused mindset and commitment to service excellence.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and health codes.

  • Must reside near SBMA (Subic, Olongapo)
