Position Description:

We are seeking an individual with project management skills to serve as a key contributor of ATI’s Business Development and Communications Department (BDC). With guidance from the Business Developer or Deputy Director, this person will support the proposal development process and develop winning proposals. Additionally, this person will directly manage the business development support systems, tools, and processes to aid ATI’s Business Developer and staff in identifying and capturing new business/new market opportunities.

Essential Functions:

With guidance serve as the proposal manager supporting all phases of proposal development including bid and proposal budget creation, planning and facilitation of strategy/review/planning meetings, storyboarding sessions, colored-team activities, orals support, and content creation as needed.

With guidance establish and/or maintain a variety of business development support systems, tools, and processes including research methodologies, data repositories/trackers, engagement plans, guides, customer relationship mapping, proposal analytics, and others.

Search procurement sites to identify and target new business development opportunities.

Support business development research activities including market analysis, customer engagement planning, and presentation development.

Assist in business development process management, metrics tracking and reporting.

Assist with the development and implementation of annual training goals and objectives.

Additional Responsibilities:

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and four or more related years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and training or a Master's Degree and two or more year's related experience or equivalent combination of experience and training. Degree in Science or Business or a related field preferred, with three or more years of experience in the operation, planning and performance of programs and projects involving technology, business processes, and collaboration.

  • Independent, self-directed worker, team player, problem solver and experienced leader.

  • Experience in project management desired.

  • Experience in government programs is desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations, technical reports, meeting management and work group management.

  • Ability to travel at company discretion.

  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to actively listen, read audiences, and quickly identify key issues and areas of need.

  • Must display exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Employee be either a U.S. Citizen by birth or naturalization, or a green card lawful U.S. permanent resident, or a political asylum in the U.S.

  • Must successfully pass a background to access sensitive information and automated systems.
