Google Analyst Relations Manager, AI Go-To-Market, Google Cloud in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in Analyst Relations, Communications, or Product Marketing in the tech industry.

  • 2 years of experience in Analyst Relations building and maintaining relationships with external analysts.

  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing agency resources and ensuring global initiatives are represented in strategic regions.

  • Experience in understanding the impact of analyst evaluations, from the communications strategy to tactical deliverables.

  • Familiarity with enterprise sales and Go-To-Market motions.

  • Understanding and familiarity with industry analysts, the cloud, and AI landscape.

  • Ability to advise and make decisions quickly across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams across product, sales, and marketing.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The Google Cloud Analyst Relations team is focused on lifting mindshare and cultivating strategic relationships with industry analysts and influencers who have direct influence on enterprise customer buying decisions. Our programs are designed to inform the industry analyst community about the company’s value proposition, from how we build new product innovations to how we commercialize and support customers through our Go-To-Market strategies with the goal of increasing customer consideration for Google Cloud.

As the Analyst Relations (AR) Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy to lift Google Cloud mindshare within the industry analyst community. You will influence how analysts think about Google Cloud as a strategic partner for enterprise customers, with an emphasis on the company’s unique AI value proposition. You'll work with leaders across Google Cloud, collaborating with teams in communications, product management, marketing, sales, and partner teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Build and execute analyst engagement programs that infuse strategic thinking with operational excellence to increase analyst confidence in Google Cloud as a long-term strategic partner for enterprise customers.

  • Drive global analyst awareness of Google Cloud AI customer wins and outcomes to significantly expand their understanding of Google Cloud’s value proposition and differentiation.

  • Simplify complex technology concepts to help shape narratives centered around Google Cloud’s AI thought leadership and differentiation.

  • Leverage analyst insights to help inform AI Go-To-Market strategies and market positioning.

  • Manage inbound requests for information, report reviews, speaking engagements, and customer references.
