Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Walmart International Operations engineering team is in the forefront of building omni-channel transactional systems (Cart, Checkout, Payments and Promotions) for both our eCommerce and store customers. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer who will be playing a crucial role in the design and implementation of multi-tenant, highly available and omni-channel transactional services for our global customers, both ecommerce and stores.

About Team:

Our team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of the United States under 55 banners in 26 countries including Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few.

What you'll do:

Working with product to understand the requirements, create low level design and implement.

Working with other dependent teams and make sure your low level design will satisfy their requirements as well.

You will be working with a team who adopted TDD/Shift left test approach. Should be able to fit into that group well

What you'll bring:

Ability to understand a business requirement , convert it to a working low level design and implement with proper testing.

Ability to debug current code and integrate new functionalities to it by making sure new and existing use cases are working as expected.

Ability to come up with enough uses cases for a customer functionality.

Ability to deliver fast without compromising code or functional quality.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
