Crawford & Company Administrative Support Representative in Sunrise, Florida

Position Summary

The role of the Administrative Support Representative is to efficiently and effectively perform a variety of administrative duties in support of the case management department.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in execution of administrative tasks deemed necessary or as required.

  • Provides confidential administrative support services and resolves routine inquiries.

  • Reviews incoming mail and scans to off-shore support team for distribution.

  • Processes letters and reports from off-shore support team for mailing.

  • Processes and finalizes certified mailing and specialty mailing services.

  • Reviews, assesses, and assigns FCM referrals for specified manager(s) or group(s).

  • Analyzes Day Cards and processes invoices according to Client Special Handling Instructions for specialty unbundled clients.

  • Reviews and professionally formats case management reports according to Client Special Handling Instructions for specialty unbundled clients.

  • Manages the flow of FCM Network Vendor report and invoicing process, while collaborating with the off-shore team to secure manager approvals and process invoices and reports.

  • May conduct research and compile information from a variety of sources to assist with completion of various assignments.

  • Establish, organize and maintain department filing, archive and storage functions.

  • May assist with preparation of monthly billing of client invoices and check requests.

  • Provides customer service by answering questions and fielding incoming phone calls in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner to ensure proper processing or redirection of calls.

  • Cross-skilled to provide back-up support.

  • Handles sensitive information in confidential manner.

  • Promotes customer service through frontline contact when communicating with internal and external customers.

  • Participates in special projects or performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • At least 1 year of clerical or administrative work experience. Experience in medical or workers compensation is a plus.

  • Driver's license is preferred.

  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications.

  • Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm.

  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with people at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrates critical thinking and effective conflict resolution skills.

  • Operate a variety of office equipment including computer, printer, photocopier, etc.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage own work.

  • Ability to set and adjust priorities of various responsibilities.

  • Demonstrates initiative; self-motivated.

  • Interpersonal skills - ability to work independently and as a team member.

  • Keen attention to detail and analytical ability.

  • Good organization skills.

  • Maintains high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
