Microsoft Corporation Principal Product Manager--M365 in Suzhou, China

As a Principal Product Manager for M365 core platform, you will be at the forefront of driving fleet efficiency and COGs saving initiative. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with Microsoft internal partners to enhance BareMetal and cloud resource utilization and efficiency, leading to significant cost of goods sold (COGs) savings. This role involves strategic planning, creative thinking and landing the efficiency products to continuously make a significant impact on M365 fleets’ efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and strategy, create scenarios that satisfy customer needs, accrue business outcomes and drive future product investments. 

  • Drive innovative ideas and approaches to improve M365 fleet efficiency and reduce costs without compromising service quality.

  • Work in partnership with Microsoft internal partners to identify and implement strategies that leverage fallow capacity and optimize service timings and regional deployment for COGs reduction.

  • Analyze and interpret complex data related to fleet resource usage and provide actionable insights.

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and efficiency goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful software products or services.

  • Deep knowledge of large-scale cloud system’s architecture, quality of service and common challenges etc.

  • A solid sense of curiosity and a drive to pursue innovative solutions in cloud resource management.

  • Proven experience in efficiency improvement and COGs reduction in large-scale services or related fields.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Solid communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
