Antwerpen Automotive CHEVROLET SERVICE TECHNICIAN in Sykesville, Maryland

Job Summary: As a CHEVROLET SERVICE TECHNICIAN at Antwerpen Automotive in Sykesville, Maryland, you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repair and maintenance services on Chevrolet vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, requiring skilled labor and expertise in Chevrolet vehicles. Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $28 to $45 per hour based on your experience level, paid biweekly. In addition, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and various other benefits. Responsibilities: - Conduct routine maintenance services on Chevrolet vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on Chevrolet vehicles. - Utilize latest diagnostic tools and technology to accurately identify and troubleshoot problems. - Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. - Keep accurate records of all services performed and recommendations for future maintenance. - Communicate effectively with customers, providing explanations and recommendations for services needed. - Keep work area clean and organized to ensure efficiency and safety. - Attend training sessions and seminars to stay updated on the latest Chevrolet technology and repair techniques. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience as a Chevrolet service technician preferred. - ASE certification and/or manufacturer-specific training preferred. - Aptitude for using diagnostic tools and technology. - Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
