How do you excel in this position
Project Engineer will a ssist in the analysis of decarbonization solutions that include both renewable energy and energy efficiency projects from concept to design. This individual performs energy engineering calculations with standard techniques applying customization as needed to the specific project. Works as a day-to-day project manager for customers/clients supporting tasks outlined by the supervisor.
What are we looking for:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering preferred from ABET accredited university. Higher education degree a plus.
4-7 years of experience is preferred. This role requires applicable experience in building infrastructure and/or energy reduction initiatives.
Additional certifications (i.e. CEM, LEED AP, EIT, or PE) also a plus.
Proficient with time management to follow the various detailed phases of projects.
Ability to work on multiple small and large projects simultaneously.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Proficient in AutoCAD related to development of schematic and concept drawings as needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail are desired.
