SUNY Upstate Medical University Record Storage Warehouse Supervisor in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

The Record Storage Warehouse Supervisor will provide day to day leadership and supervision of the Record Storage Warehouse staff. Maintain consistent staffing levels; hire and train all staff. Review & monitor staff performance, provide coaching and counseling as needed. Complete probationary reports, yearly evaluations and conduct individual meetings if employee is not performing well. Hold weekly staff meetings and one-on-one meetings. Perform daily walk through of the Warehouse to identify concerning items that need to be addressed, such as Warehouse organization, proper record/box placement and overall safety and cleanliness. Maintain proper pick up and drop times and work with end user departments regarding their needs/requests. Monitor department projects and destruction needs. Control inventory placement and concerns. Will cover for staffing absences or vacancies as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree and three (3) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prior supervisory experience, good communications skills, ability to coach and counsel employees experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two or more years' experience as a Supervisor in a medium to large sized Warehouse and Record Storage environment preferred.

Work Days:

M-F 7:00am-3:30pm
