Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Quality Control and Reliability Teams ensure product and / or product components comply with specifications and quality standards. They test and inspect products against performance and integrity criteria to ensure product quality and reliability, and to determine the suitability of product release.

Your responsibilities

  • Documentation and updating of existing and new documents and processes

  • Acting as the main point of contact for external and internal customer complaints

  • Analyzing quality issues and implement corrective and preventive measures to improve overall product and process quality and reduce error costs

  • Leading and overseeing the deployment and execution of quality policies, objectives and quality initiatives

  • Supporting and active participation in TEOA projects (improvement projects)

  • Coordination and ownership of all quality related activities

  • Managing of new product introduction in line with TE processes

  • Supporting Quality Management System maintenance as required

  • Achieving quality targets based on financial year goals and drive continuous improvement

  • Coordination and hosting of customer audits, inspections and customer visits for the site

  • Creating site specific quality documentation (e.g. inspection plans, work instructions and process descriptions, risk assessments FMEAs)

  • Ownership of site quality reporting and quality statistics

  • Providing training and functional leadership in the application of statistical methods and quality tools throughout the site

  • Managing and cooperation with Quality Engineers

What your background should look like:

  • University degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or similar

  • Min 5 years’ experience at similar position in quality

  • Working knowledge of ISO9001 and group of ISO 14000 standards

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent English and Polish required)

  • Ability to lead, influence, and drive results in activities involving cross-functional teams

  • Able to build customer relationships and act as voice of the customer within the internal organization

  • Proactive and continual improvement mind set

  • Experience with problem solving tools (Six Sigma, 5W, etc )

  • Experience with relevant quality Standards & tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, QFD, DOE, )

  • SAP QM module experience required

  • Auditor training is an advantage
