Description and Requirements
At Motorola Mobility, we are committed to innovation and excellence in mobile technology. We are looking for a talented and creative UI Designer to join our design team. This role requires a deep understanding of user interface design principles and a passion for creating intuitive and engaging mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative UI solutions for mobile devices.
Create and iterate on assets that reflect a brand, enforce a language, and inject beauty and life into a product.
Design user-friendly interface elements like widgets, tabs, and navigational components.
Develop high-fidelity UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how applications function and look.
Participate in user experience research and respond to feedback to improve the design.
Maintain consistency in visual elements and defining behavior
Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Interface Design, or a related field.
Proven experience as a UI Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio of design projects.
Proficiency in Figma and good knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite and other visual design tools.
Excellent understanding of UI design for mobile platforms such as Android and iOS.
Basic knowledge of front-end development programming languages
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Able to work in a Hybrid format (3x office, 2x home office)
Location, São Paulo, SP
Preferred Skills:
Experience with responsive design, design system and grid-based layouts.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with varying requirements.
Experience with software development cycles and a good understanding of the best practices in user interface design.
