Continental Senior HR Associate (Mid Shift Schedule) in Taguig City, Philippines
Continental Global Business Services in Manila started in June 2012 as Veyance Technologies Inc. and was acquired by Continental AG in January 2015. On the same year, it legally changed the company name to Continental Global Business Services Manila Inc., which reflects its global presence as a full-fledged subsidiary of ContiTech Division in Continental AG.
GBS Manila is composed of five (5) main work streams, structured to make processes centralized, standardized, and in leveraged technology with the support of IT group, Continental Business Systems & RPA Competence Center.
It provides end-to-end, front-to-back services; from customer service, order management, purchasing, invoice to payment, credit and collection, full finance activities, data management, and HR services including payroll, employee benefits and talent acquisition; all built to meet its customers needs.
Key Target Of The Role: To provide a comprehensive support in multiple facets of Human Resources and contribute to the overall success of the HR function and the organization as a whole
Areas of responsibility / Task areas / Main Tasks:
Talent Acquisition & Data Management:
Support the end-to-end recruitment processes
Maintaining the applicant Tracker System (ATS) and managing other sourcing channels (JobStreet, Indeed.com, etc.,)
Ensures that the employee data is updated in both Employee Central and MyHR
Payroll, Compensation and Benefits:
Assist in data entries of pre-payroll items through MyHR
Preparation of OJT allowances report to be submitted to Finance
Time keeping; validation of leaves and transportation reimbursement
Assist with the preparation of Government Remittances reports for (SSS, Pag-Ibig & PhilHealth)
Training and Employee Engagement:
Support with the planning and facilitation of employee trainings and engagement activities
To create or enhance training materials and internal communications
Occupational Safety and Health
Assist with the enrollment in the HMO of new employees
Support with other wellness related programs
Assist with the arrangement of travel and accommodation for GBS' employees and guests traveling on company business.
Process Improvement
- Finds opportunities and potential for designing new best practices in the overall HR processes and in the organization
Administrative Tasks
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned from time to time.
Degree in Psychology, Communications or related fields
Experience in an international or local shared services environment
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
Experience in other HR functions such as compensation and benefits, training & development or occupational safety and health is an advantage
Strong written and verbal communication skills
With proven ability to communicate with candidates, employees and stakeholders at various levels of organization
Fast learner, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced HR environment
