Aon is currently recruiting a Director to join our Placement team in Taipei, Taiwan.

Role Overview:

  • Responsible for all aspects of broking including but limited to carrier management, leverage, placement, revenue driving and market intelligence.

  • Build strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters to provide clients with the best insurance policy options.

  • Strong proficiency in market data and broking result analysis and utilization.

  • Works with complex or high-profile territory/account, products/services or sales process; serves as team lead on direct broking.

  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.

  • Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan.

  • Grow network within the insurance carriers and good on market intelligence through benchmarking, analytics, and evaluations, along with a high-touch approach to help brokers achieve their sustainability goals.

  • Make a contribution to the success of the company through strategic growth of existing accounts and support new opportunities.

  • Individual with knowledge of the principles and practices within a technical/ professional discipline.

    Operational Excellence

  • Applies company policies and procedures to deliver varied technical and professional activities and to resolve issues that are generally similar in nature.

  • Adhere the requirements from local regulations and Aon compliance.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Proficiency in Chinese/English

  • Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to think strategically and analytically with good problem-solving skill

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

  • Detailed minded, proactive, accurate and well organized.
