    Requirements:

    Office hours are from 07:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

    This position may require some limited travel.

    The incumbent in this position will be required to be on-call to perform assigned duties during an off-duty period.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Experience in desktop support providing customer service, supporting Microsoft Windows and Office 365 products. Two years of work experience troubleshooting personal computer hardware and software. Scripting knowledge preferred .

    Position Description:

    The FWC Systems Project Analyst creates, deploys and manages software packages, scripts, Compliance Policies and Configuration Profiles (Group Policies) using Microsoft Intune and Tanium or other tools as provided. Responsibilities include overseeing security updates for endpoint devices, ensuring device compliance with antivirus and encryption standards. This includes troubleshooting problems in Intune and creating tickets with Microsoft as needed to resolve. Position provides rapid response to potential security threats on endpoint devices. This position will document new processes and procedures, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, assist users with Microsoft 365 applications via the Helpdesk Call Center and maintain a training program for new technicians to qualify for administrative rights.

    • Additional duties include FWC Commission Meeting support, Law Enforcement Academy class laptop deployments and other IT duties as assigned.

    • The role demands critical thinking to resolve unique problems and improve processes thorough building automated processes where possible.

    • Provides technical assistance to computer system users. Incumbent answers questions or resolves computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote locations.

    • Test and monitors software, hardware, and peripheral equipment to evaluate use, effectiveness, and adequacy of product for user. May take a lead role in the planning, testing and implementation of major projects under the supervision of management.

    • Reads technical manuals, confers with users, and conducts computer diagnostics to determine nature of problems and provide technical assistance. Works directly with hardware and software manufacturers to resolve major problems.

      Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of Windows 10 and 11

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications

    • Knowledge of Microsoft’s Active Directory and experience with user accounts in AD

    • Knowledge of Antivirus software and security procedures

    • Ability to communicate effectively

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

    • Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques

    • Ability to work independently
