The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

We're seeking a Shared Services Operations Professional to promote operational process improvements, data quality, project support, automation, and metrics reporting. You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties as assigned directly by the Head of the Department. This is a Business Analyst Vice President position under Money Transfer Department.

Responsibilities:-

  • Ensure our department is in compliance with numerous requirements ranging from Business Continuity to general Compliance issues to various Systems Access.

  • Understand related policies, procedures, regulations, etc., develop supporting material addressing the subject matter and provide educational assistance for all department staff as needed.

  • Ensure that such requirements, as implemented also adhere and not contradict Head Office Common Rules.

  • Perform Management Information Reporting, which includes reporting daily/monthly activity, trend analysis etc. and prepare such information to be presented to senior management.

  • Manage and complete internal projects of varying complexity intended to enhance job performance productivity, maximize process effectiveness and efficiency, and improve quality control practices.

  • Manage all internal operations for department as it pertains to areas such as risk, budget planning, transfer pricing allocation and management reporting.

  • Assist in the resolution of identified Regulatory and Audit findings including documenting, implementing and monitoring corrective measures.

  • Assist in the static data changes as they relate to our payment system, Global PayPlus (GPP).

  • Expanded role within our GPP unit to include extensive QA application and system testing as well as system configuration for our MTD operations platforms undergoing upgrades due to ISO20022 industry requirements.

  • Perform all duties of a Business Line Security Officer including: security administration for applications, security awareness training to department staff, manage the overall System Access verification.

  • Responsible for maintaining departmental continuity plan ensuring DR readiness including; remote access readiness, contingency site requirements, critical employee information.

  • Act as liaison between Business Continuity Planning and Systems regarding department needs.

  • Assist with FedLine Advantage/FedLine Web requests relating to access, functionality and security aspect.

  • Liaison between the Federal Reserve and Systems regarding any upgrades, equipment or user issues.

  • Represent the MTD management team on site in Tampa to perform interviewing, on-boarding, and hands-on process training for all new staff members joining the MTD team in the new office.

  • Additionally, the position will act as the primary liaison for managing Department engagements for risk control testing, internal audits, regulatory reviews (OCC and FRB) and third-party testing for SOX and Compliance that will have high visibility with the move.

  • Streamlining - This is a new assigned responsibility, which will alleviate the burden on the Department unit managers.

  • Handle any ad-hoc or special projects, as needed.

The right candidate will have:

  • 10-15 years experience as a business analyst in a financial institution.

  • Overall knowledge of banking and operations.

  • Requires strong executive-level communications, presentations and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Access, Business Objects, Finastra’s Global PayPlus.

  • Able to assimilate applications/systems, their fundamental attributes and recommend improvements.

  • Able to teach others functional aspects of various systems/applications, etc.

  • Able to interact with others, at all levels.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and functions.

  • Self starter.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $106K - $145K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
