A career in Partner Affairs, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to provide strategic and operational support to current and former partners of the Firm. You’ll have a big part in supporting our partners from assisting with partner admissions and talent development to partner compensation, administration, and benefits.

Our team is responsible for designing and managing the overall benefits strategy for PwC’s Partners. You’ll focus on designing, managing, and administering the Partners’ benefit programmes which include health and welfare and retirement programmes.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Train and lead staff

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Minimum Degree Required :

Minimum Years of Experience :

2 year(s) preferably as a Retirement Plan Administrator or Benefit Analyst

Certification(s) Required :

Preferred Qualified Plan Administrator (QPA) credential from American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) or associated credential.

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in roles for a global consulting partnership administering partner retirement plans, benefit calculations and communications including the following areas: - Utilizing and applying functional knowledge of relevant actuarial and regulatory concepts and intuitive understanding of numerical relationships; - Utilizing and applying various methods of data collection, analysis, and data interpretation; - Adjusting to shifting priorities and challenges, juggling new and multiple tasks, executing reasonable judgement and analysis in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment; - Conducting financial reporting, emphasizing the preparing, manipulating and delivering of effective reporting of data and statistical information and quickly identifying variances and remediating them correctly and expeditiously; - Managing key relationships, providing support and delivery of appropriate information timely and accurately; - Owning projects and managing them through completion within timelines, identifying and elevating issues early, proposing solutions and effectively communicating them to team members; - Utilizing the power of technology to improve and implement controls and procedures that enable timely and accurate processing, analysis, and reporting; and, - Managing the documentation of processes, system and process enhancements, process flows and operating procedures.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success administering partner retirement plans, benefit calculations and communications in a global consulting partnership, including the following areas: - Utilizing systems and programming skills to access and organize data, performing applicable calculations, analyzing moderate to complex information, assessing the reasonability of results and drawing conclusions, updating exhibits and slides, and completing documentation; - Displaying extensive organizational, mathematical and analytical skills to process and assimilate complex data, particularly using Excel--writing complex formulas utilizing functions within the formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP and And functions, and Access—setting up databases and writing queries; - Providing customer service, both verbal and written, responding to client requests promptly and professionally with confidence and clarity that builds end-user confidence; - Managing and coordinating multiple tasks ensuring quality results, accuracy and completeness; and, - Building rapport with others, understanding their goals and adding support and assistance that will enhance the relationship and ensure overall success.
