Finance Reporting Lead Analyst, VP - Reg. Reporting
The US Reg Reporting Lead Analyst will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of schedules related to the filing of several key US Regulatory Reports including FFIEC 009/a, FR 2510 and FR 2436. This position requires a high degree of discretion and authority to ensure that the compilation, analysis, and reporting of Citi's financials to the Federal Reserve are conducted in accordance with regulatory and internal standards.

FR 2510 Report of Institution-to-Aggregate Granular Data
FR 2436 Semiannual Report of Derivatives Activity
Ad Hoc Reports
Responsibilities:
Quarterly and Semiannual review of regulatory schedules including timely submission of Reports to regulators via Reporting Central of the above-mentioned reports
Ensure accuracy of Reports through various review methods and liaise with the Regulators on behalf of Citigroup, Inc
Produce metrics for Senior Management highlighting key issues and remediation status, maintain and enhance related operational and analytical procedures, ensuring key controls are in place and both standardize and optimize processes globally
Responsible for ensuring execution of project plans and key milestones as assigned, surrounding data acquisition and curation, change management and communication and issue resolution. Escalate potential issues identified in working group sessions.
Active leadership and representation of CER team in working group sessions, strategy planning and various reviews sessions to identify and facilitate remediation of detailed action plans and commitments to targets in relation to data sourcing and curation workstreams.
Identify process improvement efforts and coordinate and streamline control activities across business and functional lines resulting from changes in operation model.
Be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive approach to all control programs and developing a sound and robust control environment.
Perform key controls, review, and facilitate MCA testing, and identify and implement opportunities for process optimization.
Manage engagement with Internal and External Audit Parties, and Regulatory Entities for the reg. reporting supported processes
Ensure timely follow up on issues identified and proper escalation to seniors as needed.

Critical Competencies:
Ability to lead, deliver results and influence change
Ability to work effectively with project teams/leaders across all functional areas and levels
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills required
Able to work with large volumes of data from different sources
Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical background and skill set to understand Regulatory Requirements, Financial Products, including system data flows
Experience in Capital Market Products (i.e. Derivatives)
Experience Regulatory and/or Risk/Management reports
Self-motivated with ability to make decisions and maintain a controlled environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks, be proactive and goal-oriented
Strong interpersonal/communication skills (written, verbal and active listening) required, ability to synthesize key messages and influence others
Knowledge of accounting and financial/regulatory reporting
Ability to grasp and master new concepts/requirements and related product/functional knowledge
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
Strong background in one or more of the Reporting Operations disciplines or areas of Finance.
6+ years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, or business-related fields in Financial Services.
