Citigroup SVP, Finance Controllers Systems QA Sr Lead Analyst- (Hybrid) in Tampa, Florida

The Finance Controllers Systems Controls Quality Assurance Senior Lead Analyst is a strategic professional accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Is the Lead Analyst on a team of professionals who stays abreast of developments within the Data Quality Assurance Field. Additionally, drives the directional strategy by considering available applications and tools in the business. They are recognized by their technical authority for their areas within the business. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. They have developed their communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. They make significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. They provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations functions of the business. Their work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the entire Line of Business (LOB).

The candidate in this role works with a team of colleagues who ensure the quality of the systems data for end-to-end processing by designing and overseeing the implementation of preventive and detective data quality controls. In addition, provide business application controls; making sure there is adherence to service level agreements; to Change Control Policies, CSDLC, CISO, Data Privacy, Records Management, Cross Border Risk and Procedures. Foundationally, this role will provide guidance on Citi’s Data Management Policy, driving a consistent approach to the use of common taxonomies and enforcing quality rules for the controller’s financial systems.

The successful candidate should be investigative, flexible, collaborative, and have excellent communication and follow-up skills with exceptional attention to detail.

The candidate will:

  • Support Citi Policy and procedures for Records Management, Change Control, CSDLC, Data Privacy, Records Management, Cross Border Risk, Enterprise Access Management for Finance Applications.

  • Support the Data Quality Assurance of, and adherence to the Citi Data Governance Policies for the controller’s financial systems.

  • Lead and participate in any necessary forums in support of the end-to-end management of the controller’s financial systems quality controls.

  • Manage discussions and requirement gathering sessions, designing, reaching consensus, and recommending Quality Assurance Controls for implementation.

  • Routinely review, adjust, and add preventive systems control based on controller’s inputs.

  • Identify risks and outline clear mitigation strategies.

  • Implement lessons learned/best practices and look to improve quality of the implemented controls and ensure consistency across common applications.

  • Review, create, and adhere to controls, processes, and framework.

  • Advise on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application in own job and the business.

  • Operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

  • Function as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Take on ad-hoc projects/requests as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 10 + years of experience in Finance Controls QA Systems.

  • Experience in Data Governance, Business Application Ownership, SDLC Governance or Systems Operations Management & Monitoring.

  • Experience with tools used for Data Governance, Data Quality (Collibra, DQP, Solidatus, Operating Fact Manager, etc.).

  • Proven talent in requirements writing, process or system studies, task prioritization, and risk identification with a focus in data areas.

  • Experience with business tools (JIRA, ALM HPQC, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Office).

  • Experience with large scale enterprise applications, and application management.

  • Knowledge of Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall Methodologies for Change Management.

  • Excellent skills in verbal and written communications, presentations, fostering stakeholder relationships, influencing others, negotiations, and working with diverse, geographically dispersed teams.

  • Ability to plan, manage time, and arrive at sound conclusions in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
