Citigroup Third Party Management Manager Control Assessment Program Lead - Senior Vice President in Tampa, Florida

Third Party Management (TPM) is part of Citi’s Procurement and Third-Party Management organization and manages the risks associated with Citi’s use of and reliance upon Third Party relationships, including outsourced arrangements, across all business lines and locations. The TPM Program defines and oversees the implementation of policies and standards that provide controls to assess and manage risks related to Citi’s Third-Party relationships and outsourcing arrangements. The goal of TPM is to support Citi’s selection and management of Third Parties capable of providing products and services in a safe and sound manner and at a reasonable cost and to manage the risks associated with Third Parties.

The TPM Managers Control Assessment (MCA) Program lead will provide oversight for all aspects of the Third-Party Enterprise MCA Profile (EMP). The EMP contains a standard set of Activities, Risks, Controls and Monitoring (ARCMs) for adoption by all organizations with third-party risk.

EMP oversight responsibilities include:

  • Working with TPM program leads to ensure MCA EMP completeness and accuracy

  • Facilitating the implementation and socialization of new and updated enterprise ARCMs—through Third Party Risk and ORM forums.

  • Supporting and driving EMP adoption facilitation and reporting.

  • Monitoring and reporting control performance results executed across Citi businesses

  • Facilitating ORM third-party risk category performance reporting and issue mapping

  • Ensuring the transformation activities pertaining to EMP are completed timely

The MCA Program lead will also provide oversight for transformation activities and the responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with ICRM to address Control Analysis, Remediation Applicability Mapping (CARAM) and ORM for Independent challenge programs.

  • Ensuring that TPM is compliant with the Regulatory Ownership and Accountability Framework (ROAF) Standard that outlines the responsibilities of the Regulations Lead

As part of the program, Third Party Management is executing strategic projects that will enhance Citi’s TPM organization, policy, processes, and tools. The MCA Program lead will be involved in some of these strategic projects as well.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with all levels of the organization including senior management

  • Strong familiarity with ORM policies, procedures and standards and overall MCA program

  • Experience with Citi Risk & Control and the ability to leverage that experience to drive MCA functionality and reporting improvements

  • Experience with Compliance Assurance and IA reviews, ORM challenges and Regulatory Audits

  • High level of proficiency in the MS Office 365 suite of applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, with SharePoint a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence a group of diverse stakeholders and drive accountability and ownership with key business partners and process owners

The Third Party Management Policy and its program elements are applicable across all Citi businesses globally. This person will centrally maintain a set of globally-consistent controls and will oversee that those controls have been pushed to and adopted by applicable businesses.

This person will also play a key role in assembling & reviewing data that will be used to ensure that Citi is in compliance with the two Tier 1 regulations pertaining to third party risk management.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
