Job Description

Core responsibilities

Machine Maintenance area is responsible to assure the reliability from the LEGO equipment and machinery through the Total Productivity Maintenance and increasing the efficiency and productivity, reducing the maintenance cost by following the safety and quality standards.

Focus areas:

  • Assure Safety as a world class company

  • Continuous improvement in machinery and processes

  • Roll out project of new machinery

  • People Leader responsible to coordinate a technical staff (Technical or engineers) according to the company policies.

  • Keep the LEGO equipment in appropriate conditions to ensure the production according companies trust and product quality.

  • Coordinate Maintenance personnel to execute maintenances as planned, problem solving, as well as to have the spare parts necessary for these activities.

  • Ensure development of Corrective and Preventive Maintenance activities, create and execute continuous improvement plans.

  • React efficiently into possible production plan changes.

  • Problem solving using root cause.

  • Tracking training process and evaluation of personal.

  • Report down time and relevant issues during shift to improve.

  • Share knowledge and experiences with other sites.

  • Comply with the requirements of IMS.

  • Keep support 24/7 to production and maintenance.

  • Active participation in LCI/Six Sigma tools.

TD2

  • Communicate with all stakeholders, supervisors, engineers, to meet customer needs.

  • Coordinate the area staff in the absence of the head of machine maintenance in order to complete maintenance activities.

  • Participate in projects to improve processes and equipment.

  • Participate in the development of new machinery with the project area.

  • Must be able to take the initiative and responsibility in solving critical and chronic problems in machinery.

  • Guarantee the support in the identification and requisition of critical spare parts.

  • Reach into new global machine maintenance standards new ways to develop and improve our processes.

  • Assign the necessary resources for the management of the QEHS system in the area.

  • Provide support, participate proactively and demonstrate leadership on QEHS in your area.

  • Comply with the Quality legal requirements, standards (External / internal) and others applicable to your area

Do you have what it takes?

  • 6 years in Maintenance or engineering of Injection Plastic Manufacturing

  • Degree in Engineering background is a plus

  • At least 2 years in management role

  • Good English communication

  • Proactiveness, ambition and persistence

  • High dedication and commitment
