FirstService Residential Amenities Attendant in Tannersville, Pennsylvania

Job Overview: Â

The part-time Amenity Attendant oversees the pool area, making safety announcements andmaintainingan inventory of all poolside equipment available for guest use.Experienced in the Hospitality Industry, serves residents by providing information and services.Â

Your Responsibilities: Â

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and vendors at all timesÂ

  • Oversees pool area (adult/children) andmakesafety announcements.Â

  • Assistswith set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed.Â

  • Must be able tosubmitand report incidents to theappropriate manager.Â

  • Must be service oriented.Â

  • Picks up debris from the pool andpossessbasic cleaning skills. Maintains bathrooms and general cleaning of facilityÂ

  • Checks sports equipment (ping pong, Tennis, Pickle ball and others) to make sure they are in order forguestto use. Inspects Gym equipment for missing or broken parts.Â

  • Â Reports broken sports equipment tomanagerso that replacement equipment can be ordered.Â

  • Must have the ability to work as a team member.Â

  • Must be accessible to and approachablewithresidents/guests.Â

  • Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and carry out the policies and proceduresappropriate forhis/her position.Â

  • Follows safety procedures andmaintainsa safe work environment.Meet with Community Manager weekly to ensure completion of open action items.Â

  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions for the roleÂ

 Skills & Qualifications: Â

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Completion of College level courses in Hospitality is strongly desirable.Â

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills;Â

  • Multiple language fluency is desirable.Â

  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skillsrequired.Â

  • Ability to lift 30 – 50lbs;Â

  • Work in an upright standing position forlong periodsof time;Â

  • Walk and climb stairs; Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment;Â

  • Reach with hands and arms;Â

  • Communicate,receiveand exchange ideas and informationby means ofthe spoken and written word;Â

  • Ability toquickly and easily navigate the property/buildingasrequiredto meet the job functions;Â

  • Ability to respond to emergenciesin a timely manner.Â

  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.Â
