Job Description

We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join a client of ours working remotely on EST hours, Monday-Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of their software applications through automated testing, documentation, unit testing, and the creation of comprehensive test scenarios and cases.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain automated tests using tools like Testlum to ensure the functionality and performance of the web applications

* Maintaining test documentation

* Providing up-to-date information about software quality

* Quality control of regression pipeline

* Create thorough test cases and scenarios to cover a wide range of user interactions and edge cases

* Perform unit testing to validate the integrity of individual software components

* Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve software defects in a timely manner

* Document testing strategies, processes, and results to maintain a clear record of quality assurance activities

* Continually improve testing methodologies and practices to enhance the overall quality of our software

* Adapt to changing priorities and be flexible in responding to shifting project roadmaps

* Maintain a keen attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality

Skills and Requirements

* 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in automated testing, unit testing, and test case design

* Proficient in using Testlum or similar automated testing tools

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively document testing processes and collaborate with the development team

* Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot software defects

* Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment

* Commitment to maintaining a positive and professional attitude, even in challenging situations

* Basic knowledge of SQL statements (SELECT, INNER JOIN, LEFT JOIN, ORDER BY, GROUP BY..)

* Basic knowledge of SQL syntax

* Experience with test strategies: KDD, BDD, TDD, DDT

* Basic knowledge of API testing

* Contract testing

* Database testing (Relational)

* UI/UX testing

* Knowledge of STLC/SDLC

* Requirements testing

* Experience with GIT

* Testing Levels Experience with tools will be a plus for work:

* IntelliJ IDEA

* Postman

* DBeaver

* BrowserStack

* Android Studio

* Appium

* TestRail

* Azure DevOps null
