This is a job description for a Production Utility Associate in Taylorsville, Mississippi.
Job Summary: Our Georgia-Pacific Plywood facility located in Taylorsville, Mississippi is currently hiring for immediate Production Utility opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities: Complete workplace organizational responsibilities in different areas of the mill. Shadow and train on current & future roles in various departments. Perform basic operator care and preventive maintenance tasks. Engage in tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, pushing and/or pulling for at least twelve (12) hours a day. Work in a hot, cold, humid, noisy, industrial environment, and around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances.
Requirements and Qualifications: Some experience in a farming, carpentry, construction, warehouse, military, production or manufacturing environment. At least one (1) or more years of experience in a farming, carpentry, construction, warehouse, military, production or manufacturing environment.
