Emerson Machining & Welding Center Manager in Tianjin, China

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Develop and implement strategic and operational goals to ensure efficient daily operations.

• Monitor the team's performance indicators, uphold safety protocols, and uphold quality standards.

• Achieve cost-effective operations and implement effective operational strategies.

• Collaborate with management on budget management and cost control.

• Recruit, train, and upskill team members to enhance capabilities.

• Manage planning and production to meet customer requests.

• Efficiently manage resources and address challenges.

• Handle additional assignments as assigned by the manager.

Who You Are:

• Service Provision: Primarily serving MRO and spare parts business, the Machining & Welding Center also handles project orders with special delivery requirements.

• Urgent Response: Swiftly addressing customers’ urgent delivery needs.

• Nuclear Power Components: Engaging in the production of nuclear power-related parts and components.

• Smooth Operations: As the Machining & Welding Center Manager, your role is to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You’ll enhance processes and procedures while meeting customer expectations in terms of cost-effectiveness.

• Team Management and Development: This involves overseeing people, machinery, materials, methods, and processes.

• Capability and Capacity Development: Continuously enhancing the team’s capabilities and capacity.

• Resource Coordination and Problem Solving: Efficiently managing resources and addressing challenges.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering or an equivalent field, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated work experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar capacity.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and effective leadership abilities.

• Practical experience in machining or welding.

• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience in nuclear-related fields and familiarity with valve systems.

• Strong team leadership skills and customer orientation.

• Able to deliver quality results.
